About Me

Francesco Marongiu is an Italian artist currently living and working in London. His work explores religion, social identity and environment in terms of humanity impact on the planet.

After his studies in Arts and Humanities at the University of Bologna, Francesco began to develop his analogue photography skills. He has worked in theatre companies, at contemporary dance and music festivals across Italy, England, and Spain, and as corporate photographer. His photography education has been built through workshops and 14 years of photography research. Recently, he assisted Robert Freeman, who is famous for his album cover photos for The Beatles; in 2022 one of his photos, Badde Umbara, was exhibited at Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
